SGN Scoops Diamond Awards Secure Location for Event
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Allen Smith, owner and publisher of SGN Scoops Magazine and the annual SGN Scoops Diamond Awards, is announcing that the 2007 SGN Scoops Diamond Awards will still take place in the Mary Room of the Executive West Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.
“We would like to thank everyone for your prayers and support during the last few days”, stated Allen Smith, “without your help, this matter would not have turned out this way.”
SGN Scoops has been in negotiations with Wilds & Associates about purchasing the contract on the room, since the company withdrew its sponsorship earlier this week. An agreement was reached, which was mutually satisfactory to both parties, and allowed SGN Scoops to acquire the room contract from Wilds & Associates.
“A separate announcement will be issued shortly naming our new corporate sponsor,” said Allen Smith, producer of the SGN Scoops Diamond Awards.
The new corporate sponsor for the 2007 SGN Scoops Diamond Awards will be announced in the next few days.
The 2007 SGN Scoops Diamond Awards will take place on Friday, September 14, 2007 in the Mary Room of the Executive West Hotel at the entrance of the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky during the week of the National Quartet Convention. The program will begin at 1:00 p.m. and is free to the public.
The 2007 awards program will be hosted by two of Southern Gospel’s most beloved faces – Karen Peck Gooch and Johnathan Bond.
SouthernGospelHits.com has signed on as the Gold Sponsor for the event. Also, The Brannin Agency will be a Silver Sponsor for the event, while Southern Spin Entertainment, SGMRadio.com, Sonrise Christian Voices, and 770 AM Southern Gospel – Kentucky’s Official Voice of NQC have signed on as co-sponsors for this year’s event.
