Brannin Agency to Host Special Benefit Concert for Sharon Smith – Editor of SGN Scoops Magazin

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Judy Brannin of the Brannin Agency has scheduled a benefit concert for Sharon Smith. Sharon is the Editor-in-Chief of SGN Scoops Magazine and co-producer of the SGN Scoops Diamond Awards as well as the wife of Allen Smith, publisher of SGN Scoops.

Sharon has been diagnosed with uterine cancer, and she cannot be operated on. She has been given one year to live by the doctors at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

In addition, she also has kidney failure because of the cancer and is on dialysis three days a week. Although she is now covered by Medicaid, there are still many expenses that are not being covered.

The benefit concert is being held in order to cover additional costs and medical expenses that the Smiths are facing due to Sharon’s illness.

The concert has been scheduled for Saturday, August 25, 2007. The venue has not been confirmed yet, but it will be held in the St. Louis region. The Suwanne River Boys have already been confirmed for this benefit.
